Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts has confessed her fear about releasing her first solo single using the newly-formed ‘on air, on sale’ release strategy. Roberts released her first single ‘Beat Of My Drum’ earlier this week using the system which means that a track is available for purchase as soon as it is premiered on the radio.

Taylor Swift has confirmed that she will be joining the Black Eyed Peas for their charity ‘Concert 4 NYC’ in Central Park. The singer/songwriter will be performing alongside LL Cool J, Carole King and Natasha Bedingfield at the event, all proceeds from which will be donated to the Robin Hood Foundation.

In a studio blog, the pop-punk five-piece have announced that the follow-up to their 2009 album ‘Not Without A Fight’ has been completed, with a release date set to be confirmed shortly.

US music veteran Moby was mildly electrocuted during an acoustic performance in Amsterdam yesterday. The accident occurred as the musician took up his acoustic guitar, preparing to perform a short set for the gathered cameras. However, after feeling a pain on his neck, Moby took off the guitar and preceded to take a step to the floor and faint, much to the (temporary) delight of the gathered media.

Rumours about White’s involvement began when Ray Davies made the claim himself in a recent interview with the BBC, however it would now appear that any speculation was unfounded.

In an interview with the Daily Mirror today (June 8th), Cooper claimed that the Memphis star made the bold statement during a visit to Las Vegas with actress Liza Minnelli and porn star Linda Lovelace in 1971.
